The Waking Night

The up and coming Canadian band, The Waking Night emerged out of a half-baked, absinthe-ridden European romp. Lead by vocalist Matt Legere, accentuated by the guitar textures of Joel Dixon, emphasized by the definitive bass lines of Mike Freeze and the hard hitting precision of Adam Sipkema’s attack on drums, the team is prepared to set sail on their musical endeavour. Drawing influences from The Pixies, The Black Keys, Spoon, Radiohead and Matt Mays to name a few, these young enthusiasts are pushing the envelope on a new East Coast College Rock.
